Gal Vallerius, a 38-year-old Frenchman was arrested by United States authorities while travelling from France to the United States for the annual World Beard and Mustache Championships. This site was a marketplace specializing in illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Vallerius had been a suspect of advertising and selling drugs on Dream Market beginning in May of 2015.

Officials were able to tie his identity to the Darknet persona by confirming his log-in credential for Dream Market and a PGP encryption key entitled OxyMonster. They also found approximately $500,000 in Bitcoin hidden on his laptop. Vallerius is scheduled to be transferred to Miami where he will be facing a fresh conspiracy indictment with a potential sentence of life in federal prison.
